I’m Hamilton ALOGAGA,
an FCCA-qualified accountant with over 20 years of experience in performance management reporting and Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A).

My journey

My journey started as a trainee accountant, learning the ropes in practice, before diving into Management Accounting. That’s where I honed my advanced modelling skills, sharpened my commercial acumen, and earned my ACCA qualification, paving the way for a fulfilling career in FP&A.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of holding leadership roles like Controller, Director, and Head of FP&A. But more than the titles, it’s the work itself that’s been my passion—staying hands-on with performance reporting, developing cutting-edge, driver-based financial models, and translating complex data into actionable insights that businesses can rely on.

I’ve worked across a mixture of industries—IT, telecom, finance, manufacturing, fintech, and more. Whether a single-owner business or scaling venture-backed startups, transforming SME private equity ventures, or leading FP&A teams in multinational PLCs, I’ve been fortunate to possess the skills, experience and know-how to affect a tangible difference. Leveraging what I have seen working at other companies, packaged neatly into a refined working solution as I engage in a follow-up assignment. From driving Free Cash Flow improvements to ensuring financial clarity at scale, my experience has shaped the FP&A that began as a career, but now a profession, that I now offer as FP&A as a Service.
